Hitting the gym

Bob Sinclar might best be known for over the top club singles now. But, if you search back into the early days you will find an album, Paradise. That album is home a hand full of songs that defined an era of house music. When sampling technology had finally come of age but the music being made with samplers wasn't taken seriously. Disco and funk records where ripped to pieces (sometimes as small as one drum hit, sometimes as recognizable as a chorus vocal) and weaved back together into raw, soul filled collages of time and dance.
This was the definitive hit off that album, 'co produced' by Thomas Bangalter (one half of daft punk). Rumor has it that this one was really all Thomas, and a lack of proper crediting caused a rift.
